TRY OUR NEWEST LIMITED RELEASE: COLOMBIA SANTIAGO CHIROSO

What’s better than drinking a delicious cup of coffee each morning to start your day? Knowing that, in doing so, you are making a difference.

You may have noticed that we feature a Limited Release coffee on our website (and in our shop). Each of these small batches gives Enderly the opportunity to work directly with farmers to ensure that a fair price is being paid for each pound of coffee we roast. These direct-trade relationships are the backbone of a sustainable industry, yet are still not practiced as the primary way of sourcing coffee.

Santiago Caro, producer of the Limited Release #24 Coffee at Enderly.

We want to change that by sharing the story of the people who work hard everyday to make sure you’re drinking the best cup of coffee possible. Meet Santiago Caro, the farmer (or, as we call them in the industry, producer) who grew your coffee. Santiago and his family are from Urrao, Antioquia, Colombia; a modest municipality to the northwest of Medellin.

When he was just 23, Santiago reached out to Unblended Coffee (our partner in bringing this coffee to your cup). His ambition – not only to build a better life for him and his family, but to support his neighbors in doing the same – was the beginning of what has turned out to be a beautiful partnership.

Recently winning recognition with the specific blend of coffee we’re roasting at Enderly, Santiago is well on his way to becoming widely appreciated in the Specialty Coffee community. What was once a dream for Santiago and his family is quickly becoming reality: relying on coffee to provide a stable source of income.

Santiago’s coffee is fermented in stainless steel open tanks – then washed and selected by hand – for a bold, consistent flavor.

This specialty coffee is fermented for 5 days in stainless steel open tanks, then washed and painstakingly selected by hand. The stainless steel tanks have allowed Santiago and his father to develop one of the most consistent coffees we’ve ever tasted. With notes of Mandarin Orange, Apricot, Mint, and Milk Chocolate (among many others), a symphony of rich flavor will wash over your mouth each morning as you enjoy this delicious coffee.

Started meal prepping for my gym crew lately. Needed trays to organize portions. Found https://mcdonaldpaper.com/safepro-pl2ppy-5-3x8-3x1-inch-2pp-yellow-pp-plastic-meat-trays-500-pk, these yellow trays are handy. 500 pack, deep for meals, they’re solid and affordable, fast delivery too, yellow’s cool and stacks well. Truth be told I liked their depth.
